Aikyashree Scholarship : Eligibility Criteria

- Should be studying in an institution recognised by the state or central body of education.
- Should have secured at least 50% in the previous final examination or grade examination.
- Individuals studying outside West Bengal are not eligible for the scholarship.
2. For Merit-cum-Means Scholarship :
- Domicile of West Bengal is necessary.
- Admission in a technical or professional course is mandatory.
- Should have secured at least 50% in the previous final examination or grade examination.
- Family income annually should be less than Rs. 2.5 lakhs.
- Students who are residents of West Bengal but are currently studying outside West Bengal in institutions listed by the state or central government are also eligible for this scholarship.

Aikyashree Scholarship Amount

1. Pre-Matric Scholarship :
Here, the amount given to the students of classes 9th and 10th is varying between Rs 150/- to Rs. 750/- per month. Apart from this, some selected students receive an additional reward of Rs. 1000/- per year.
2. Post-Matric Scholarship :
In Post-Matric Scholarship the amount given to the students from the 11th grade Ph.D program varies between Rs. 160/- and Rs. 1000/-. This scholarship is also given to students in SC, ST, OBC and EWS categories.
3. Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship :
It is mainly for the female students who have qualified for class 12. The selected students get an allowance of Rs. 3000/- per month. Additionally, they get a bonus of Rs. 2000/- as book allowance. Females who want to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate degree can avail of this scholarship.
4. Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship :
Here, a financial support of Rs. 8000/- per month is given to the students.
5. Hindi Scholarship Scheme :
The individuals are given a monthly allowance ranging from Rs. 300/- to Rs. 1000/- per month.
